Some tips to rent a car in Dallas
Dallas is one of the few cities within the United States that has more than one airport for those who travel. One of the airports is Dallas Love Field Airport and the other is Dallas Fort Worth Airport. Those airports make it so easy for travelers to find cheap flights to Dallas from the airport closest to their home, because they can fly into one and depart from the other if they need to.
The good news is that those travelers that need a rental car for their time in Dallas can take advantage of the fact that they can easily rent a car at one airport and return it to the other one. The best part is that it is actually cheaper to rent a car at one airport and then return it to the other one. In fact, the cost is actually cut by a third for those who choose to rent their vehicle over at Dallas Love Field Airport and then return it over at Dallas Fort Worth Airport.
Travelers who are hesitant to attempt this type of change with flights into and out of different airports, and car rentals that start and end at different airports, should at least give it a try once. The reason for this is the amount of money that can be saved is enough to make the different itinerary worthwhile.
Both Dallas Love Field Airport and Dallas Fort Worth Airport are not too far from each other, which should alleviate many travelers’ fears of them being too far apart to make the additional travel worth the savings. However, the distance between the two airports is only approximately fifteen miles.
Travelers can easily hop onto TX-183 West from the Dallas Love Field Airport before taking the ramp for TX-97 North to the Dallas Fort Worth Airport. Since those are both main highways within the Dallas area, travelers can easily hop onto them both from wherever they are staying in the city, where their meetings are being held, or where they are visiting the most popular attractions.
That means that travelers can easily navigate their rental car throughout Dallas after they arrive at Dallas Love Field Airport. They can check into their hotel, attend meetings or conferences if necessary, venture out for a meal, head over to all the attractions that they want to see, and eventually head over to Dallas Fort Worth Airport to return their rental car and fly home.
