Shuttle Bus Service at Castellon Airport
There are currently 2 different transportation companies offering this service:
- Mediterraneo Holidays (Autos Mediterraneo): This company operates the southern line, connecting Castellon Airport with Castellon City (Castellon train station), and once at Castellon train station there are direct trains to Valencia every 30 minutes.
- Hife: This company operates the northern line, connecting Castellón Airport with the town of Torreblanca (Torreblanca Train Station), and once at the train station, you can easily connect by train to other tourist towns such as Benicassim, Oropesa, Peñíscola, Vinaroz; or even, although it is not the best option, also to Valencia, Tarragona or Barcelona.
Shuttle Bus – Southern Line at Castellon Airport (Autos Mediterraneo)
As mentioned above, this service is provided by the company Autos Mediterráneo, tickets can be purchased online or on arrival at the airport, and the service covers the route Castellón Airport – Castellón Bus Station.
Although there were rumors that the direct bus route between Castellón Airport was going to be activated again, at the moment it is still not operating.

Children and Infants aged less than 4 years do not pay and must sit on the accompanying adult’s lap.
Where to buy the tickets? Southern Line
- Online Tickets on Mediterráneo Holidays website. As always, it is the best option to secure a seat. Sometimes seats are limited.

- At the bus station in Castellón: The bus departs at the indicated times from platform number 11, or 13, of the bus station (next to the train station). You can buy tickets on the bus.
Remember that the best option is to buy the tickets online, so you can reserve a seat on the bus in advance, but of course, you have a second chance to purchase the tickets if you couldn’t do it online. There is an Autos Mediterráneo ticket desk just in front of the arrivals exit at the airport (next to Malco Rent a Car desk – car rental at Castellon airport is available), and the staff is going to help you to buy your ticket (only card payment accepted, no cash).

The ticket desk is located in front of the arrivals door, at the Tourist Info Point.
- Tickets from the airport: You can buy online, or on your arrival, buy at the Castellón Airport ticket desk just in front of the Arrivals exit. Do not lose the chance to buy the return ticket on the desk.
Arrival and Departure times.
- Departure times from the airport are approximate. The bus doesn’t depart until the flight arrives and every passenger is on the bus. Every flight has a bus waiting for it. No chance to lose the connection. If you have doubts, please ask where is located the bus stop at the ticket desk, but we explain it above.
- Departure times from the other bus stops are fixed.

Shuttle Bus – Northern Line at Castellon Airport (Hife)
The northern line is connected by the company Hife, operates on a regular schedule, tickets can be purchased on the bus, and connects the airport of Castellón with the Torreblanca train station, which allows connecting by train the main tourist towns in the area, such as Torreblanca itself, Benicassim, Oropesa, Peñíscola, Vinaroz; or even also with Valencia, Tarragona or Barcelona.

Where to pick up the bus?
- Bus stop at Castellón Airport: Getting the Bus Stop at Castellon Airport is very easy. Exit through arrivals doors after baggage claim, turn right, go past the coffee shop and information desk, take the exit, and in front of you is the bus, just crossing the road.
- Bus stop in Castellón City: Bus Station – Platform 11 (Castellón Bus Station is located next to Castellón Railway station – Connecting you by train with Valencia, Tarragona, Barcelona, and almost all the most important cities in Spain).
- Bus stop in Torreblanca: Railway Station.
