There is a Rental Car Center (RCC) facility serving the airport that is located about five minutes from the terminals by shuttle.

Reaching the RCC facility is very easy. Please, take the courtesy free shuttle buses (white and blue & marked as “Rental Car Shuttle”) that depart from outside Baggage Claim Area in the Arrivals Level every five minutes (just follow the “Rental Car” sign at you arrival to the airport).

Shuttles departures:
  • Every 5 minutes between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm
  • Every 10 minutes between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am.

The George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston is an international airport in Texas. It is a class B airspace and serves the greater Houston metro area.  The airport is located some 23 miles north of downtown Houston and between the interstate 45/69 United States highways. There is direct access to the Hardy toll road expressway. The George Bush Intercontinental Airport schedules a large number of flights to international and domestic destinations. The airport was previously named “Houston Intercontinental Airport”, but it was later renamed to “George Bush Intercontinental Airport” after the 41st president of America, George W. H. Bush.

The airport serves more than 40 million passengers in 2017 and became the worlds’ 48th busiest airport, but the 15th busiest in the United States. The George Bush Intercontinental Airport covers about 10k acres with 5 runways.
