About the Airport
The Southwest Florida International Airport is the major county-owned airport located in the South Fort Myers area of Lee County (unincorporated area), Florida, of the United States. The airport is a customs, port, and borders protection point of entry into the United States. It serves the southwestern region of Florida, which includes the metropolitan areas of Cape Coral-Fort Myers, the island of Naples-Marco and Punta Gorda.
