The music hall is one of the “must-see” places when coming to Kentucky. The beautifully renovated music hall dates as far back as 1878 and is one of the most beautiful buildings in Cincinnati. The Music Hall is located in Washington Park, Cincinnati, over the Rhine neighborhood, and it proves an extraordinary presence. There are arched entranceways on the facade under a large round window and flanked by two square-shaped towers.
You may also decide to explore the hidden histories of Cincinnati at one of the five largest US subway/underground tours (National Geographic, 2012). Enjoy a walk across over-the-Rhine, which is home to the largest collection of historical monuments and landmarks in America. Then a visit to the buildings of the Gateway District, home to more than 130 saloons, beer gardens and bars, and theaters that hosted iconic stars like such as Buffalo Bill Cody.
Then, check out where the first residents of Cincinnati were first buried, by descending to a hidden crypt below the city streets. How about returning underground in a bid to explore the tunnels which were instrumental to the Cincinnati brewery heritage.
You may also visit the Carew tower and observation. This tower is known to be the second tallest building in the city of Cincinnati. Built-in the 1930s when the Art Deco era in the United States was at its peak, the French Art Deco building is known to be one of the national historic landmarks.
While this building is multifunctional, containing stores, offices, hotel rooms, etc., what fascinates most people is the 49th-floor deck observation of the city.
What are you in Cincinnati for? Business, vacation, just about anything, you need mobility. While you may have thought of using the buses or taxis, those are unfortunately not mobile enough to allow you to experience the city to the fullest.
